Birch wood burns fiercely and is known for creating large, bright flames. This means the fuel generates a lot of heat, however it also has a greater aesthetic appeal when burning, setting the scene indoors or outdoors. It will certainly see you through these long, dark and cold winter nights. Birch burns easily and can be burnt unseasoned. The bark also makes an excellent fire lighter. It ignites very easily, an excellent choice for kindling or for starting your fires quicker. Always a great firewood, burns slowly, good heat output and little smoke. Always great results.
Birch firewood has a high calorific value- 8,33KJ. In order to get this high caloric value Birch firewood must be kiln dried either mechanically or in a natural way.
No chemicals, all natural, goodbye to logs made from pallets and harmful chemicals. Our wood is only from natural timber, which ensures a clean and safe burn. The trees absorb carbon during their growth and life, then our wood returns carbon when burned.
