The Churchill Range combines style with the durability of Swedish Redwood. The timber is pre-treated to give added protection from the UK’s ever changing weather, giving you peace of mind that this range of garden planters have been designed not just with style but with the assurance they have been built to last!
This high quality range of attractive wooden planters will look fabulous in all outside environments, including a home setting of your garden, patio, conservatory & orangery or any commercial environment such as schools, hotels, bars, restaurants, golf clubs, cricket grounds and gyms.

- Thick wood design with corner offset lats that crisscross for extra strength
- Extremely sturdy – assembled with galvanised staples and extra pins for longevity
- Already stained in the shade Golden Oak – which gives antifungal, mold and UV protection
- Ready to use straight away this stain contains UV filters, natural oils and a water repellent wax
- Slatted base, (see images) for correct drainage to prevent root rot, just add rocks/crock & then your compost/growing Media
- Hand made in the UK
- Manufactured from high quality slow grown Swedish redwood

No need to stain or treat, however if you wish to enrich or change the colour this can be done with a water based stain or outdoor timber paint. Oil based preservatives can also be used to nourish the wood and increase the durability, see below.
To keep your Simply Wood Churchill products looking new, protected and fresh we have the stain used in manufacturing available to purchase:-
Please note the drainage slats on the base of the planter to prevent rot. A liner or membrane can be used if required however not essential. You could also recycle the cardboard packaging supplied to support the growing media/compost (remembering to create drainage holes) Alternatively place some rocks/old pot pieces in the base of the planter. This will assist with drainage and prevent plant root rot.
