Hi Ian. After helping us with a replacement for our very old arbour I thought you’d like to see pictures of the Woodshaw Appleton Swing Seat Arbour in its designated place in our garden. We applied 3 coats of Ronseal 10 year wood stain in natural oak colour before assembly. My wife and I put it together pretty quickly. I was really pleased to see all the fixing holes lined up where they should and there was practically no warping or twisting of the wood. It’s nice and solid. The arbour catches the Sun most of the day and faces West for the last rays of a summer evening. Add a bench cushion and some gentle motion and it’s perfect with a cup of tea or glass of wine.
