A slightly late email – my apologies – but thank you both for sorting the problem! The screws and pieces of wood arrived Saturday and the arch was erected in time to be unveiled during the party to celebrate a friend’s 70th. The garden garbage bag and gloves were an unexpected bonus!! Thank you.
I must also mention that the Yodel driver (Douglas – well known locally) who delivered the screws etc on Saturday did exceptionally well, it had snowed and while the postman and other drivers were not prepared to drive in to us Douglas was and for that he should be commended!
Finally, the arch looks splendid.
